Evil Expo

We have scoured the farthest reaches of the globe to bring you objects of great power!
Actually, we’ve just scoured Biblio.com, the online used book reseller. Our goal is to help small, independent booksellers by offering a carefully-curated list of some excellent tomes on various kinds of evil.

We make a small commission, but seriously, since most of these books quite cheap – it’s pretty tiny. It does let us do our part at getting a little more darkness out into the literary world.

Please remember – these are INDEPENDENT, USED BOOKS, curated by hand. That means that there’s usually only ONE copy – once one of these books is gone, it is GONE!

So you should get some now…before they disappear! [insert evil laugh here].

For our first choice, here’s a classic tale of revenge – “Do Evil In Return”, from 1950.

Perhaps Margaret Millar’s most controversial book—and certainly among her best—Do Evil in Return is a meticulously plotted and suspenseful meditation on abortion and the hypocrisy of the laws governing a woman’s body. Millar may be known as the Grande Dame of domestic suspense, but this brutal tale of a doctor hell-bent on uncovering the truth puts her in line with noir luminaries like David Goodis and Jim Thompson.

Get the book here for $13! (Actually $12.80, but that sounds much less dramatic.
